People at Provo High School definitely know who Matthew Rhineer is because of his golf ability and all of his help in the Provo/Orem community. Many look up to this varsity golf player, and we wanted to know why. So we sat him down and talked to him about this year’s season. When first asked how the season was going, Matthew Rhineer, varsity one, said…
“We’re not doing too hot right now, but we’re looking to pick it up”
It seems to be that the golf team has started up with a bit of a rocky start, but Matt has high hopes for him and his fellow teammates. They hope to turn their season around and be better than Provo Golf has ever been!
“We have very good team bonding skills, and we’re really a family.”
When asked about the strengths of his team, Rhineer said this, “We can really see how close this Provo High Golf team is and it gives everyone at the school hope of what they could accomplish.”
“It’s a great time…. A great time.”
We asked Matthew Rhineer what he loved about PHS golf and this was his reply, “I feel like we speak for everyone when we say that we are so happy that this team is just having a great time and are happy to be in each others presence.”
To say the least this PHS golf team looks like it is in great hands as long as Rhineer is leading the way. We appreciate varsity one, Matthew Rhineer, for giving us time out of his day to reflect on PHS golf. Thank you Matt, go Bulldogs!
