Coed Varsity Cross Country · Cross Country: State Championships – Meet Recap

The Bulldogs had 3 individuals race at the UHSAA Cross Country State Championship Meet. Savannah Eatough and Alison Bartholomew represented the girls while Creed Robertson represented for the boys. The course at Sugarhouse Park is a tough one with many hills and not much room to run. The Bulldogs had to battle for position throughout the entire race, but held their own.

Alison and Savannah kicked off the meet both with great performances. Savannah ran strong with a finishing time of 20:49.7 with Alison not far behind her running a time of 21:46.3. Creed go out fast opening in a 5:24 mile and finish with a strong time 17:02.6!

Creed Robertson Racing Hard!

Overall Coach Phil Olsen was pleased with the effort. He knows this team is young and it can only get better. Next year the Bulldogs will be looking to get the entire team to the State Championships. Many of the Bulldog runners will be shifting their focus to the post season where they will get a chance to race at the Footlocker Regional meet in Walnut, CA.

Ally Frey and Creed Robertson were recognized for earning the All-State Academic award. Way to get it done on the course and in the classroom Bulldogs!

Go Bulldogs!
