Provo’s heavyweight, Jimmy Tomasi, completed the state tournament on top. Jimmy defeated Ryan Gunn from Box Elder in typical Tomasi fashion with the score of 3-2 to win the championship. Congratulations Jimmy! We are proud you are a Bulldog.
Provo’s very own Jimmy Tomasi beat his opponent from East in the semifinals with a score of 3-1. Jimmy will face Ryan Gunn from Box Elder for the championship. Finals start at 5:00 pm. We wish Jimmy luck! Come to the UCCU Event Center and cheer him on!
The Provo High wrestling team competed in the 5A Divisional A tournament this past weekend. We took 19 wrestlers with us and we did a really good job. As a team we placed 9th place out of 12 teams. We qualified 6 wrestlers to compete at the State tournament. Here are the qualifiers. 285 James
This last weekend Provo High wrestling team took home the 2nd place trophy at the Hunter Duels. Out of a 9 team competition we went 6-2 Undefeated wrestler was Jimmy Tomasi going 8-0 Cole Cook went 7-1 and took second place at his weight class.

The Provo High Wrestling Hall of Fame would like to recognize individuals from its past for induction into the Provo High Wrestling Hall of Fame. Provo High athletics is excited to announce that Russell Torgersen was named to the Academic All-State team for wrestling. Russell wrestles at 152 for Provo.
