Boys Tennis Finishes 2nd in Region

This last Thursday and Friday the boys varsity tennis team competed in the Region Tournament. As a team Provo High took 2nd place, and 6 out of our 7 players qualified for the State Tournament happening this Friday and Saturday at Liberty Park in SLC. Gustavo Kerber Region Champ, Caden Petersen Places 2nd

Gustavo Kerber, Provo’s representative for 1st singles, finished his region play as Region 8 champion.  Gustavo’s relentless play full of tenacity has been his trademark for the entire season.  His play lifted him to the top of the region in preparation for the state tournament.  Gustavo will enter the state tournament as a one seed.

Tennis Defeats Wasatch

Last night Boys tennis played their last home match of the season vs. Wasatch. Varsity won 4-1 and clinched 2nd place in the region for the regular season.
