Jimmy Tomasi Repeats as State Champion!!!!

Jimmy Tomasi successfully defended his title as the 5A state champion for the 285 lb weight classification.  Jimmy pinned his opponent, Ryley Horrocks of Mountain View, in the second period.  One of Jimmy’s greatest challenges in the state tournament occurred as Jimmy wrestled Kellen Collier of Box Elder.  Their match went into overtime and Jimmy

Good luck to our wrestlers today and tomorrow.  Jimmy Tomasi is looking to repeat as state champion.  Round one action starts today at 11:30 am.  Championship Finals take place tomorrow at 4:45 pm.  We’ll keep you posted as to who advances.  Go Bulldogs!

Wrestling at Divisional Recap

This past weekend wrestling had divisional’s at Wasatch High School, in Heber. Divisionals decides which wrestlers go to state, their place at divisionals and determines their seed. Match Day: Tri-Dual vs Park City and Maple Mountain

The Bulldogs host the Park City Miners and the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles in an evening filled with wrestling action.  The Bulldogs kick of the tri-dual against Park City at 5:15 p.m. followed by a dual against the Maple Mountain at 7:30 p.m.  Come cheer on our wrestlers.  Go Bulldogs!
